What I checked, in the order I did it

I wrote the order after reading the official feature list, then the control tables, then the combo articles. Guard and slip come first because the game page names them. Codes come before a style roll because spins are optional and coins are easy to waste on the body menu. I have not timed a tutorial, so I do not give it a minute count.

The inputs, prompts and settings below are community-reported, not tested in-game. The recommended practice order is editorial.

  1. Learn guard (often hold F) and slip (Space plus a direction). The official text puts slip, counter, and guards at the center of the game.
  2. Wait for the counter prompt, then click. Do not open with a long flurry.
  3. Optional: redeem codes for spins, then roll one style. Leave some coins.
  4. Fight the AI the game page mentions before you queue into players.
  5. Add one three-punch chain from the combos page.
  6. If the camera feels tight, the October guides suggest FOV 90–100, lock-on on, head bob off, and replays off. Those are community settings, not an official preset.
